This includes all outside contractors under agreement to provide development services. This also includes establishing coding standards and documenting and implementing new products and integrations developed by the product development department.

Essential Departmental Functions:

1. Work with developers to establish standards for all pages and code. Post standards to the developer’s Wiki. Develop and implement departmental standards for process, performance and documentation. Establish training programs for new staff. Determine where weaknesses are and re-train existing staff. Ensure all staff is trained on equipment and processes as they are updated.
2. Work closely with the Event Services Manager to determine prioritization of clients and deliverables.
3. Responsible for web deliverable schedule. Shift resources within Business Units and between Business Units to meet established delivery dates.
4. Work with Product Development to implement new products and services. Work with the PD Manager to document new services.
5. Schedule and coordinate contract staff. Continue to sign up additional contractors and have them trained.
6. Participate in annual budget process; forecast expenses, make recommendations. Manage department staffing and resources within approved budget.
7. Participate in weekly manager meetings and monthly leadership meetings, in person, in Bourne office.
8. Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, disciplining as well as preparing and conducting performance evaluations.
9. Other duties/special projects as assigned.

Required Skills:
A minimum of 1-3 years of management experience is required. Must have Project Management experience, and development experience in ASP, PHP, VB and SQL is preferred. Must have the demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills required to interact with staff, colleagues, management and clients. Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills; attention to detail and problem solving abilities are a must as are strong written and oral communication skills. The ability to handle stressful situations and multiple tasks simultaneously, and perform within tight time constraints is required. Moderate travel is required. Tradeshow industry experience is a plus.

Education and Experience:
Four-year college degree is required.
